Bovine mammary epithelial (BME) cells are a clonal epithelial cell line that originated from the mammary tissue of a 201-days pregnant cow. I have recently brought back this cell line as a kind gift from Prof Hisashi Aso of Tohoku University, Japan. Traveling in this pandemic world is stressful due to mandatory possessing of a COVID19 PCR negative test report. In addition, the probability of being alive of the cells back in Bangladesh made my travel more anxious. However, all my anxieties are over when I have seen my cells are growing. Sincere thanks to Prof. Muhammad Anisuzzaman sir of Parasitology Dept, BAU for the Cell culture Lab support. Hope we could do some promising work with this resource.
