An academic webinar series on “Health management of zoo animals” has been organized by the Department of Medicine, BAU. We thank Dr. Nazmul Hoda, Upazila Livestock Officer (Attached to National Zoo, Mirpur, Dhaka) for sharing your real-life practical experiences on Health management of zoo animals with our students of DVM Level-4 Semester-1. We have been continuing most of the theory courses online, however, got stuck conducting practical classes including VM412: Zoo Animal Medicine. Due to the pandemic lockdown, we were unable to visit the National Zoo with students this year, which we used to do as a part of the practical classes. We hope our students have been enjoying these interactive virtual lecturers of an experienced Zoo Veterinarian. Sincere thanks to our respected four-course teachers for being with us online.
