We just have finished the 20-days-long (36 virtual sessions of 3 hours) task of taking the final examination virtually for the DVM Intern students. There was some troubleshot of internet connectivity but we have managed them well. Students were cooperative from their sides as well. Much appreciation to the Hon'ble Dean, Departmental Heads, Intern guide teachers, Veterinarians and the Director of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Faculty of Veterinary Science, BAU for their kind support and time to make it happen. Thanks to corresponding VS and ULO of 48 different upazila Veterinary Hospitals of Bangladesh and Srilanka for monitoring the students' field practices. Sincere thanks to our Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor sir for his kind approval of taking the online exam. Hope the results will publish soon to make them DVM graduates, my best wishes to them. Notably, BAU has specially arranged the semester's final examination for this batch physically in the midway of the pandemic (January 2021) for taking them on board the 43-BCS application. Perhaps, the pandemic will not be ended soon. In these circumstances, some departments of BAU have already been taking the online exams for master courses. My gut feeling is that we should think of taking online exams for other undergraduate batches of BAU as soon as possible. Stay safe, thank you.
