Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) have jointly implemented the project, titled “Technical Assistance to Attended the closing workshop on "Establish Solar Energy Based e-Pest Surveillance System”. The objective of the project was to promote smart pest surveillance system through introducing solar based and ICT supported monitoring and decision support application in DAE to enhance crop production. Mr. Md. Mesbahul Islam, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture was grace the occasion as the Chief Guest for the Closing Workshop. Mr. Md. Asadullah, Director General, Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) was Chaired the Session.
