Kyoto University Faculty Member Dr. Kenichiro Onitsuka Visits BAU
Dr. Onitsuka , the Associate Professor at the graduate school of Global Environmental Studies of Kyoto University, Japan, has visited the honorable Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) Professor Dr. A K Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan,at his office on Monday ( March 17 ,2025 ) Dr. Onitsuka came to Bangladesh for a week long trip in connection to a JSPS postdoctoral research project of Dr. Tahmina Chumky, who was a former graduate of BAU. He was invited for a seminar talk arranged by the Bangladesh Agricultural Extension Society, which was held on March 15 at the Department of Agricultural Extension Education (DAEE). He discussed with the honorable vice chancellor and BAES secretariat regarding the potential future collaboration with BAU and possibility for signing of MoU between Kyoto University and BAU. Prof. Dr. M. Asaduzzaman Sarker was present during the meeting.Publish Date: 17 Mar, 2025
